Cultural Heritage, Gender & Climate Justice

  • Expand Roots & Routes Project to South Horr, Waso, and Baragoi, empowering 150 youth & women.
  • Operationalize the EcoShe Innovation Hub for green entrepreneurship, eco-design, menstrual health innovation, and sustainable livelihoods.
  • Launch 5 new Environmental Peace Clubs in schools and youth centers.
  • Produce digital stories on Indigenous climate adaptation with youth media teams.

Women’s Empowerment, SRHR & GBV Prevention

  • Lead mobile SRHR outreach and distribute dignity kits to 500 girls.
  • Train 100 counselors and male champions in GBV prevention.
  • Facilitate elders–morans–girls dialogues on harmful cultural practices.
  • Roll out Positive Parenting & Mentorship Circles in Suguta, Porro, and Maralal.

Gender Equity, Governance & Customary Law Reform

  • Co-lead grassroots forums for Samburu County Gender Policy implementation.
  • Conduct 4 legal literacy barazas targeting women and youth.
  • Launch civic education campaigns on inclusive budgeting and climate-resilient governance.

Youth Leadership, Peacebuilding & Advocacy

  • Host Samburu Youth Assembly for Peace and Climate Solutions.
  • Train 50 Indigenous youth in mediation, transitional justice, digital storytelling, civic tech, and modeling as advocacy.
  • Strengthen youth participation in county peace dialogues and budgeting forums

Cross-Cutting Priorities

  • Include youth with disabilities, pastoralist girls, and ex-GBV survivors.
  • Integrate faith leaders and cultural elders to shift harmful norms.
  • Document and amplify success stories via radio, podcasts, and national platforms.

Mental Health, HIV Awareness & Drug Prevention

  • Roll out mental health and self-esteem campaigns in 10 schools.
  • Establish peer-led psychosocial support groups in Porro and Tuum.
  • Partner with NSDCC to embed HIV, drug awareness, and trauma healing in youth programs.
